Just another day....

As I Sit here and Knit inside My BayWindow of My Yarn Shop in Our Little Seaside Island Town of Lockeport, I Watch the Sights and Listen to the Sounds of The OutSide World. There's Traffic that Rolls by Continuously, all day long. Most of the People I do Know, and there's a Handful I may not. A lot are Fishermen, who may be Checking on their Boats, or Preparing for The Spring Lobster Fishery with their Wooden Traps in tow on a trailer. Birdies fly back-and-forth The Street, from one yard to another, in search of Little Snacks, or Just a Nice Place to Roost. Our Little Town is Quiet, and Quaint. We have a lot of Natural Beauty that Surrounds Us throughout The Whole Town. Even Some locals do not Realize, as They have never gone out and around to Explore The Area. While I sit here and Wonder about Days Gone Past, I Think of All of The Different Individuals over the Years, that have long since been on this Earth, that used to be a part of Our Community that have Made Us Who We are Today. A lot of Us do not need to be Entertained. We are Quite Capable of Doing that on Our own. I guess that's why Some People who Move here Absolutely Love the Area. Others can Never UnderStand why We Stay. But it's Our Home where We were Born, Raised, and will Live until we die. As I Knit, Stitch-by-Stitch, onto yet another Sock, Wondering whose Feet these will be Worn Upon. I can Only Hope that They will get Great Pleasure and Enjoy wearing them thru out Their Adventures during their Own Encounters. Especially if they have had the Opportunity to Place their Feet Down in Our Little Piece of Paradise.
